A Special Visitor
On Thursday last we had a very special visitor to the club. The big man himself turned up to training to give our younger swimmers a nice Christmas treat!

52nd Annual Bazar
Today was a very important day for the Club with the annual fund raising “Bazaar” being held in the community center. As you can see on the photographs, the hall was buzzing with fun activities…
The games were very busy all afternoon and the children were having great fun…. The different stands were offering good offers between toys, games, books, etc. The “Ricketing” wheel (Wheel of Fortune) was as popular as ever with Enda McDaid, did you see all the FAB spot prizes! The little “Coffee shop” kept everyone smiling and made the place so welcoming. Thanks to some excellent “Home bakers”, all sorts of home bakery treats were offered to all. Thanks to our “Sales Department!” with the sale of tickets for the “Spot prizes”, guess the name of Teddy and try to get your hands on the beautiful Christmas cake baked by Anna Greed, a lot of money was being raised.
This ONE big activity could not have happened without the help of many people who made it possible. So, BIG thank you to the organisers, the spot prizes providers, all the helpers and home bakers for your time and contribution.
Once again this year, the Bazaar was a HUGE success!

The 56th AGM of the swimming club was held on 29/9/14.
It was a good meeting well attended.

The AGM of the swimming club will take place on Monday 29th September at 8pm in Askeaton Community Hall.
